Spring Break 2012 | Spain and It's WondersThe world awaits for more exploration. I set my sights for Spain. I've wanted to head to the motherland of my motherland (Dominican Republic) for many years now. With no expectations but a good time with great friends we couldn't go wrong. Although Spain has nearly an infinite amount of attractions ranging from all corners of its land mass we didn't have enough time or money to embark on an extensive trip. We choose Ibiza for the parties, Barcelona for the Art and Architect, and Madrid for...well it the capital. |

| I'm taking over the world and no can stop me! |
On to Barcelona. This city has truly changed my life. Maybe not the city on it's own, but the people I crossed paths. I learned a lot about myself in this city. Ara and I promised ourselves that one day we'd come back to Barcelona to live. Hopefully we can make it happy. In my opinion, this city offers everything anyone would want. There's a beach, diverse industires, architectural beauty, a strong educated population, great food, and greater people. Needless to say I L<3VE Barcelona.

Guinness, Jameson, and A Lot of Craic
After my adventures in London I went to Cork and Dublin (20/3-25/3) to find the luck of the Irish. Although a corny cliché that's exactly what I found. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I fell madly in love with Ireland, the landscape, the people, and the whiskey. As far as I know the Irish are one of the friendliest people in the world. I love their accents too. One night in Cork we stumbled upon a pub that had live Folk music. It was great the singer was such an entertainer and he had great stories of growing up in Cork and rockin' out in the 70's. I went to Blarney Castle which optimizes the Irish landscape we grow up seeing on the TV. In Dublin we played a pub quiz, which was so much fun. We started our team with three players and by the end of the night nearly half the pub was on our side. We didn't win, but gave them a run for their money. Other adventures in Dublin consisted of the Guinness brewery, the Jameson Distillery, Forever 21 (FINALLY), St. Patricks Church, and all the other touristy things you could thing of.

I've officially been to the U.K....SAY WHAT!
We had a week off from school and I took a trip to London and Ireland. London was so great. It's been on my travel list for what seems forever and I'm so happy I had the chance to go. Getting on the airplane and listening to English accents got me really excited about heading to LONDON TOWN. I continue to say I can't believe I've seen that, but sure enough I have. I don't know who I've become lol. This girl who travels and sees the things she's been dreaming about. I'm constantly reminded how much I want to see the rest of this marvelous world. I'm so lucky, but if I can get to where I am now I know anyone can. It sounds cliche, but I know it's true, if you set your mind to something and really work towards it you can accomplish anything you want. I learned something really important in London. Although things may seems rough and they don't happen the way we want it too I just need to "Keep Calm and Carry On". It's as simple and difficult as that. ^_^

Carnevale 2012 a Venezia
I can't believe the things I've seen and the places I've been. How did I get to this point in my life where I am checking off pivotal things off my bucket list? Dreams do come true I guess if you set your mind to it. Venice during Carnival was absolutely surreal. Venice on it's own is unreal, but during this yearly extravaganza known as Caranevale this place transforms into a playground full of dreams. Where the mysteriously masked and costume creations go rampant. There was music, food, parades, and crowds galore. Highlights: The traditionally extravagant dressed, buying a real Venetian mask, and the slew of costumes that I saw.
